This policy explains how anyone working with us, or in our supply chain, can raise a concern about wrongdoing and how we will protect them.

Purpose

We want anyone who works with us to feel able to raise concerns about wrongdoing, without fear of being treated badly for doing so. This policy explains how to raise a concern and how we will handle it. It applies to employees, workers, agency staff, subcontractors and anyone in our supply chain.

What you can raise

You can raise any concern about wrongdoing connected with our business, including:

Personal grievances about your own employment are usually handled through the grievance procedure, unless they involve a wider public interest.

How to raise a concern

  1. Raise it with a director, in person or in writing, or by email to sales@thewildaxisgroup.com marked for the attention of the Anti-Slavery Champion.
  2. You do not need proof. A reasonable belief that something is wrong is enough.
  3. You can ask for your concern to be treated confidentially, and we will protect your identity as far as the law allows. You can also raise a concern anonymously, although that can make it harder to investigate.

How we handle it

We will acknowledge your concern, look into it promptly and fairly, and tell you what we are doing about it as far as confidentiality allows. Where we find wrongdoing, we will act, including reporting it to the relevant authority.

Protection

No one who raises a genuine concern will be dismissed, disciplined or treated unfairly for doing so, even if the concern turns out to be mistaken. Anyone who victimises a person for raising a concern will face disciplinary action. Workers raising qualifying concerns are also protected by the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.

Reporting outside the company
